Affiliate Marketing refers to the promotion of a product or service by a third party website. The site that actually sells the item receives a pre-agreed commission or fee from the supplier.

There are numerous sites that specialise in promoting other people's product on a " No foal, no fee " basis. In many ways, this equates to subcontracting one's marketing effort to other people. However, the prime benefit is that the supplier only parts with cash when an order is received.
