Is Apple changing the world?
It could be argued that the iPhone is one of the most influential consumer electronics ever made, making a huge impact on the world as we know it.
This October saw the launch of the much anticipated iPhone 4S.
Where it looks almost identical to the iPhone 4 it boasts unique features including:
• Siri – The personal assistant. Understanding what you say and knows what you mean.
• Dual core A5 chip – making everything faster
• 8 megapixel camera and advanced optics
• iOS 5 – the worlds most advanced operating system with over 200 new features
The introduction and simplicity of installing Apps on your smart phone has changed the way in which we view, share and market information. With millions of apps to choose from, there isn't much you can't be provided with.
The App store has opened up new outlets for reaching consumers. Apps give users the ability to engage with companies and vice versa. It can provide a great way to gain brand awareness and communicate with existing and potential customers.
The iPhone is not only a phone but a media device. Whether you own an iPhone or not, the very concept and design has changed the way future devices will be made and information will be distributed for both consumers and marketers.
"Computers themselves, and software yet to be developed, will revolutionise the way we learn." Steve Jobs.
