It’s finally here! After days of anticipation, the 2010 LikeMinds conference – sponsored in part by Organic Development – is getting underway in various locations around Exeter and across the web. Over the next 2 days, influential speakers from a wide range of backgrounds will discuss everything from the ‘We’ generation to the National Trust.LikeMinds is a 2 day conference looking at how media is changing right now, and how curation - the fostering of communities - is becoming the way to build long term value as we answer the question, "What do you do when people can get all the content they want for free?"
As you can see from our previous posts, we’re very interested in content curation and its function in digital media, so we can’t wait to discuss the issue with LikeMinded people (see what we did there?!)
If you have the slightest interest in content curation, social media, app development, filmmaking or the social impact of technology, we strongly recommend that you keep up to date with the conference as it progresses. Luckily, there are a number of ways that you can do this:
1) Follow @WeAreLikeMinds and search for the #LikeMinds hashtag on Twitter
2) Visit the bespoke LikeMinds community platform to watch the speakers live
3) Keep checking in to the Organic Development blog for our take on the conference
Stay updated throughout the next 2 days and you’re bound to find some food for thought.
