To significantly improve search visibility for relevant Devon breaks and Cornwall hotel searches and improve online reputation for Camelot Hotel's service and offering.
Solution:
To implement a thorough search marketing strategy - carrying out intensive keyword research around search volumes to refine keyword target list. We then set to implementing an onsite strategy around improving the 'crawl ability' of the site through code pruning and optimsing the content, contextual linking and meta strategy to improve onpage relevancy. We then carried out on-going offsite optimisation predominately driving an inbound link strategy to improve the link quality and link popularity of the camelot-hotel.co.uk domain.
Results:
Camelot's traffic increased 81% in the last month, compared to the same month the year before. Position 2 in Google UK for "hotel in bude" position 1 with Google place for "Devon breaks" in Google UK. The hotel noticed significant increases in accomdation e-bookings and calls.
