Salary Dependant on the candidate: From £20K to 30K basic plus bonuses

Job Description  / Skills required:

• Analyse a client’s current website and provide a well defined site assessment on current natural search performance
• Understand the major technical factors that influence natural search crawlability, indexing and keyword ranking
• Perform Natural Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities, including but not limited to, identification and analysis of performance metrics; keyword research and ranking analysis; competitive market audits.
• Implement and undertake link building campaigns
• Develop and identify new ways of implementing SEO practices such as link building
• Writing SEO friendly copy and implementation of SEO best practices
• Proactively present program recommendations along with benefits to clients in order to timely advance program goals and objectives
• Support the project management team, including interaction with clients and partners via phone, emails and direct contact
• Take an active interest in new SEO innovations such as RSS, Social search, blogging and Video and communicate these benefits to clients
• Understanding analytics, how to measure performance and report regularly on SEO progress
• Have an excellent understanding and experience with Google Analytics including landing page testing and optimisation tools
• Assess, undertake, manage and report on inbound link building strategies

 Candidate Requirements

• Client facing and exceptional written skills
• Commercial awareness of Search in the context of client's marketing plans
• Website build- HTML, DDA, Javascript
• Appreciation of CMS and dynamic URL’s
• Appreciate of web analytics and techniques
• Keen to learn and expand your knowledge of SEO developments
• An experience and understanding of usability
• Minimum 2 years experience in house or agency
• An understanding of the implications of contextual, relevance, semantic, database and coding
• Team orientated
• Proven track record of delivering results
